We review annually our accomplishments, success metrics, and observations on effectiveness, shifting and expanding the objectives and goals as we make progress. This strategy is more than a plan – it is a mindset. Our team members want to influence and impact policies, culture, and actions. We will establish listening channels and communication tools to give every individual a voice and the ability to influence at Eastern.
The goal at Eastern is to encourage curiosity, empathy, and openness. We recognize that our team members may be at different places on their journey to an inclusive mindset. Eastern, therefore, has a responsibility to help our team members grow and learn. Challenging mindsets means exposing our team members to ideas, perspectives, knowledge, and training on key issues of DE&I.
