    When Eastern Contractors Corporation was founded in 1998, safety has always guided our decision-making process.
    At ECC, our number one priority is the safety and well-being of our employees. A commitment to safety is a central aspect of our core values. Through our Environmental, Health and Safety program, we can perform high quality work while focusing on the safety of each employee, our subcontractors, and the customer. Our overall program includes extensive training, monitoring, and teamwork with a top to bottom commitment that keeps safety at the forefront.

    Our Safety Team stays abreast of OSHA regulations and best practices in safety management. Through Safety-Focused Management, effective policies and procedures, and knowledge on a wide variety of industries, ECC is able deliver on job production and schedule, without compromising safety. Through continuous quality improvement and education, we are invested in safety from project inception to completion.
    Leadership
    From the initial planning of a project to daily operations, we believe not only in the where we are going, but empowering others to get us there. This involves equipping all members of the organization to carry out our core values.

    Each team member takes responsibility and ownership of safe and healthy operations. This is built on the respect we have for each other and the work that we do. Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and people always come first. Safety – it is how we do business!

    In the more than 20 years that ECC has operated, our safety ratings are consistently among the best in our industry, and we continually strive to implement better approaches for safety to ensure a healthy future, both for both our company and our clients.
    Through the pursuit, design, pre-project/pre-task planning, and execution of the work on our projects, our team members keep safety as one of our core values. When you add this 24/7 safety mentality to the ‘Culture of Care’ and ‘Family’ culture we have strived to develop and see on our projects, every team member returns home safely.
